Birds of Prey

Falcons

Birds of Prey are a species that primarily hunt and feed on other animals.  They have keen eyesight, powerful, hook-tipped beaks for tearing flesh and strong feet with sharp talons for grasping and killing prey. Falcons have long, narrow pointed wings and are best known for their technique of high speed dives toward their prey.  There are six species of falcons located in the United States.
